Kularūpiṇī (कुलरूपिणी)

This is the 897th name of the Lalitā Sahasranāma.

After revealing the Divine Mother as Kūṭasthā, the immutable and changeless reality underlying all existence, the Sahasranāma now presents her in a distinctly Śrīvidyā and Tantric dimension:

Kularūpiṇī: She whose form is Kula; She who manifests as the Kula principle; She who is the embodiment of the totality of manifested existence and the sacred spiritual lineage of Śrīvidyā.

From an Advaitic perspective, she is the one Consciousness appearing as the many.

She is beyond the universe.

She is the universe.

Both statements are true.

Ultimately, Kularūpiṇī teaches that the Divine Mother is the embodiment of Kula, the totality of manifested existence. All beings, worlds, energies, and experiences are expressions of her presence. Through this name, the seeker learns to perceive the sacred in every aspect of life and to recognize the entire universe as the visible form of the Divine Mother.

To contemplate Kularūpiṇī is to see all existence as the living body of the Divine Mother.
