146. Niṣprapañcā
Niṣprapañcā reveals the Divine Mother as the Reality beyond the entire realm of names, forms, and multiplicity. The name teaches that beneath the apparent diversity of existence lies the undivided Consciousness that remains forever untouched by the distinctions and changes of the manifested universe.
Niṣprapañcā (निष्प्रपञ्चा)
This is the 146th name of the Lalitā Sahasranāma.
Having revealed the Divine Mother as Nirvikārā, the changeless Reality beyond all modification, the Sahasranāma now takes the seeker even deeper:
Niṣprapañcā - She who is beyond the manifested universe.
The universe of multiplicity, names, forms, distinctions, space, time, and causation is called prapañca. The Divine Mother is revealed as the Reality that transcends this entire field of manifestation.

Does this mean the world is unreal?
Not unreal in the sense of non-existent.

It is dependent.
The world has no independent existence apart from the Consciousness in which it appears.

Consciousness is the Reality underlying the appearance.

Not another world.

but by recognizing the Consciousness in which the world appears.
When attention returns to its source, the many are seen as expressions of the One.
The play of multiplicity continues, yet the underlying non-dual Reality shines unobscured.
